Founder and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HRA Pharma. Created in 1996, HRA Pharma is a European pharmaceutical company that develops and commercializes products in its key therapeutic areas of reproductive health and endocrine diseases. André Ulmann started his career as M.D. in academic hospitals, and then transitioned to the pharmaceutical industry, joining the French company Roussel-Uclaf. He began as an International Project Leader and then was appointed Medical Director of Laboratoire Roussel France. Following this, he served at the helm of four different therapeutic areas within Roussel-Uclaf and Hoechst-Marion-Roussel: international clinical research, endocrinology and immunology, neurobiology, and bone diseases.
André Ulmann received his M.D. degree from the University of Paris VII and his Ph.D. in science from the University of Paris VI. He is an expert in nephrology and internal medicine fields.
Co-founder with Gilles Avenard, CEO of BioAlliance Pharma since the transition of the Company to a Board of Directors, in April 2010. Previously, Dominique Costantini has served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Management Board since she co-founded the company in 1997. Prior to establishing BioAlliance Pharma, Dominique Costantini spent 16 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Hoechst Marion Roussel (now Sanofi-Aventis Pharma) in the Research, Clinical, Pharmaceutical, Medical, Registration and Medico-marketing areas.
Dominique Costantini received her M.D. degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Paris V. She is an expert in the immunology field.
Chief Financial Officer, in charge of development, diversification, mergers and acquisitions at the CNIM Group (Constructions Industrielles de la Méditerranée, providing turnkey industrial solutions in mechanical, energy and environmental sectors). He has served in a series of positions in the industrial area: internal audit, business analysis and controlling, administrative and financial management, export financing management and project financing.
Michel Arié is a graduate of the French Engineering School Supelec and of the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises de Paris.
Head of Private Equity of ING Belgium since 2001. He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group and then successively held a series of managing positions at the Industrial Development Institute, Chargeurs (in charge of the Business Development), Marceau Investments (industrial activities), Investop SA and ING Investment Management France.
Denis Biju-Duval is a graduate of the French Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (INSA) and holds an MBA from Paris HEC/ISA.
Board member of Altavia group (communication and marketing group), she has been managing SMEs for 10 years, in a context of LBO in the health and communication areas. Previously, she held international management responsibilities in the pharmaceutical industry (Hoechst Roussel, Servier).
Catherine Dunand graduated from Ecole Centrale of Lyon and holds a MBA from INSEAD.
Remi Droller joined AGF Private Equity in 2003 as Partner to manage investments in Healthcare. He serves as Board member of Integragen, Adocia, BMD, Domain therapeutics, Prosensa and Novagali Pharma.
Before joining AGF Private Equity, Remi Droller spent three years working for CDC Ixis Innovation (renamed CDC Entreprises Innovation), as Analyst in the ilfe sciences investment team.
Remi Droller holds a postgraduate degree in Molecular Biology (Paris VI University) and a master's degree in management of science and innovation from INA-PG/ESC, Reims.
CEO of Amgen France and Vice-President of Amgen Inc. since January 2006 (incorporated in 1980, Amgen is a specialty pharma and the biotech industry leader). Gilles Marrache was appointed as Country Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg in 2004. He had previously (in 2002) headed up Amgen's oncology division in France. Prior to joining Amgen, he had served in a number of executive positions at Novartis Pharma France (Marketing Director, Commercial Director and Oncology Division Director), where he was involved in launching Glivec and Zometa. He started his career at the wholesaler CERP.
Gilles Marrache is a Pharm. D. and holds an MBA from ISC Paris.
